Virgin Mobile has announced that it has launched a "Music Unlimited" service for its customers. This service will allow Virgin Mobile users to download ringtones, tring tunes and full song on their phone for free. The only charge that we could find in this service is when you call 586865 from Virgin Phone to avail this service. Users will be charged at 10 paisa per second, which is reasonable enough.
We can't seem to find any catch in this offer, and by what we have read it seems genuine enough. The service will allow users to download songs from Bollywood, Western Rock, Indi Pop, Bhangara, Pop and songs from other languages like Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and more. The press release claims that there are more than 1.5 lakh songs in the library.
Speaking at the launch of this service, M.A. Madhusudan, Chief Executive Officer, Virgin Mobile India said, "Through this service, we at Virgin Mobile aim at changing the way music is consumed and reinvent the ways youth experience music every day. With the launch of Music Unlimited service, Indian youth have an access to best of the music content for free."
